Riptide Cruises is a 2018 Caravelle Razor 237 UR E-Toon known for its unique, non-traditional design and sporty look. It features a fiberglass hull and a 200HP outboard, capable of speeds of up to 40mph. Riptide has undergone some upgrades, including new upholstery and SeaDek flooring. We also installed a new stereo system consisting of four 6-inch speakers under the seats, two 8-inch new wakeboard speakers, and one 10-inch subwoofer to make any island party unforgettable.
The price for each cruise is a flat rate, not per person. All of the cruises are private trips,
meaning you pay the listed price and can bring up to 6 passengers. The tip is not included in the listed price.

The charter price includes the use of the boat, captain services, and fuel, and life jackets for everyone (even the little ones), and a cooler full of ice-cold water bottles.
Additional costs may apply for travel outside of our usual water, special water toy floats, and equipment, or any special requests.

If you are staying at a bay-side condo with docks in Orange Beach or Perdido Key and would like to be picked up and dropped off there, please let me know when booking, and I will do my best to accommodate!
Some condos with bay-side water docks include the Bella Luna, the Caribe, the Pass, and Bay Shore Towers.
Our charters typically have a minimum duration of 3 hours, and we can accommodate longer trips based on your needs.
You can enjoy bar hopping, island hopping, relaxing at a sandbar, or simply cruising around the beautiful waters of Orange Beach.
We love dogs!
However, please let us know in advance if you plan to bring a pet. Pets will have to be appoved prior to boarding.
Service animals are always welcome, of course! Please let us know in advance to ensure their safety and comfort for their day on the water.
Depending on the season, you may encounter dolphins, sea turtles, various fish species, and even manatees. Birdwatching is also popular, with opportunities to see ospreys, bald eagles, pelicans, blue herons, and other shorebirds.
Yes! Captain Christina is knowledgeable about local wildlife and their conservation and is happy to share insights and information during your charter.
Dolphin sightings are year-round!
While we can often see dolphins swimming alongside the boat, swimming with them is not permitted to protect their natural behavior and well-being. However, we can enjoy watching them in their natural habitat from a safe distance.
Safety is our top priority. If weather conditions are deemed unsafe, we will work with you to reschedule or offer a full refund.
Bookings are non-refundable within 48 hours of your scheduled cruise. We reserve the right to cancel any cruise at any time due to weather, safety, mechanical, or behavioral issues. If your tour is canceled, you will be given a rain check to re-book at another time (this excludes behavioral, along with alcohol-related cancellations - these circumstances will never be rescheduled or refunded). For weather-related issues, your safety and comfort are our top priority. We may choose to wait out a brief shower, reschedule for another day, or refund if we are unable to reschedule. The captain reserves the right to take whatever course of action is most appropriate and will be in contact with you if your cruise may be affected by the weather.
"NO SHOWS" will NEVER be refunded or rescheduled! NO SHOWS after 30 minutes of
scheduled departure, your trip will be cancelled without the option of a refund or reschedule.
Yes - The waiver will be sent with your confirmation email after booking. All adults must sign the waiver for themselves, as well as sign for any minors attending, before arriving at the dock.
The waiver consists of your usual acknowledgement of risks and liabilities, etc. (standard stuff to keep my insurance premium as low as possible so I can keep my prices as low as possible)
The information it may ask you for is your name, birthday, email address, home address, and signature. The email is for you to receive a copy of the waiver, and I only ask for your home address so I can truthfully know where my guests are visiting me from.

Riptide Safety Cruises
There are 8 adult and 2 children Type 1 Life Jackets (with whistles and water-activated lights) aboard the vessel at all times.
Children aged 8 years old or under must wear a captain-approved life jacket at all times while the vessel is underway per Alabama Law.
We have many, many life jackets for all ages and sizes, so we gotcha covered. But of course, feel free to bring your own life jackets if you have them.
Riptide is also equipped with all USCG requirements plus extras. Such as 2 Fire Extinguishers, Type 5 Throwable, VHF Radio, Electric Distress Flare, Class A First Aid Kit, Class B First Aid Kit, Air Horn, & Whistles.
